Global Buildings Performance Network

On behalf of our State Department, National Building Inspectorate (NBI) conducted a half-day consultative meeting with stakeholders from the Financial Sector (Banking and Insurance institutions) on Friday 19th September, 2025 at Radisson Blue hotel, Nairobi.

This meeting was a more focused effort to have financial institutions engage more actively in our sector, enhance funding support and customize funding and risk products to mitigate investment risks in our sector. We pledged to strengthen our engagement with this segment as we move forward.

The event was honoured by our PS, Ag. Secretary NBI, ED of NCA, among other invited leaders from our sector, and was supported by the Global Buildings Network as part of our Decarbonization Roadmap Development Technical Assistance Project.
