Site handing over by SDPW officials to Contractor to Construct Footbridge in Ololunga Olepolos in Narok South Constituency, Narok County.

On 31st January 2025, a team from the State Department for Public Works witnessed the site handing over ceremony of Ololunga Olepolos in Narok South Constituency, Narok County to the Contractor for the construction of a footbridge.

The footbridge will enhance communication between settlements in accessing schools, markets, health facilities, security and other social/public amenities. During the rainy season, the existing drift is submerged in water, which takes almost 1-2 months to subside and this forces the area residents to travel for almost 2 hours to reach the nearest crossing. The footbridge will connect Ololunga and Nkareta towns which host schools, markets, health facilities and other social amenities.
