PS, SDPW meets with Public Service Commission

The State Department for the Public Works team, headed by the Principal Secretary Joel Arumonyang and the Heads of Technical Departments (HODs), held a meeting with the Public Service Commission team. The HoDs proposed for review of public works staff establishment for all the directorates, upgrading of the staff to correspond to similar officers in other State departments and requested for more staff to be recruited by the Public Service Commission so as to have officers at the County level. The following Directorates  were involved: Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Structural, Building Surveying, Quantities and Contracts, Fire,  Design, National Building Inspectorate (NBI) and the Kenya Building Research Centre (KBRC).
