The proposed Guidelines seek to  define the responsibilities, scope of work and services, and prescribe minimum scale to be used in establishing professional fees with a view to making the client fully aware of the duties and services which he/she may expect from a Consulting Interior Designer. Further, the document shall be used as a guide in registration and engagement of Consulting Interior Designers that may be engaged by various Ministries, Departments, Agencies and even by County Governments.
